Ronald Anderson attacked, killed by dogs on Slay St in NW Fort Worth
FORT WORTH, TX – An elderly man sustained fatal injuries Monday in a dog attack that happened at his home in northwest Fort Worth, reports Dallas Morning News.
The incident occurred sometime around 4 p.m. on Slay Street near Ten Mile Bridge Road, which is just south of Eagle Mountain Lake and north of the Fort Worth Nature Center and Refuge.
The preliminary investigation indicates that three dogs from a neighboring yard likely attacked the victim in his yard. Officials found the victim deceased in his home with multiple dog bites.
Authorities identified the victim as Ronald Grant Anderson.
Animal Control seized the three dogs suspected of being involved in the attack. It’s not yet clear if the owner will face charges in connection to the fatal incident.
