Steven Hernandez IDed as victim in Seguin-area collision

GUADALUPE CO., TX – A motorcyclist sustained fatal injuries over the Labor Day weekend in a solo crash in southwest Guadalupe County, reports NBC DFW 5.

The accident occurred shortly before 1 p.m. Sunday along FM 467 near Clift Lane, which southeast of New Berlin and in the southwestern outskirts of Seguin.

Police say that the motorcycle operator was likely speeding when he lost control of his bike, left the roadway, and crashed into a fence.

Medics performed CPR at the scene, but the motorcyclist ultimately succumbed to his injuries. Authorities identified him as Steven Daniel Hernandez of New Braunfels.

There were no passengers on the motorcycle at the time of the accident.

Officials haven’t yet determined Hernandez’s condition at the time of the crash.

A full investigation is underway.
