Car hits, kills Cynthia Anthony near Babcock and Wurzbach
SAN ANTONIO, TX – An elderly woman died late last month when a vehicle struck her in a northwest San Antonio parking lot, reports KSAT 12.
Shortly after 12:30 a.m., emergency teams responded to an auto-pedestrian crash in the area of Babcock and Wurzbach Roads, which is just southwest of Methodist Hospital.
Police say the victim was walking in a parking lot when a car driven by 52-year-old Theresa McCormick hit her.
McCormick did not stop to render aid or to speak with officials.
The pedestrian, identified as 75-year-old Cynthia Anthony, succumbed to her injuries at the scene.
Authorities located and arrested McCormick on Thursday, September 4th, charging her for failure to stop and render aid in a collision involving death.
The investigation is ongoing.
