Seth Sutton claimed in multi-vehicle crash on US-75, Exit 67

DENISON, TX – A man died, and one person sustained injuries late last month in a multi-vehicle collision along the highway in northeast Grayson County, reports kxii 12.

Around 10:45 a.m. on Thursday, August 21st, emergency crews were called to a major accident involving six vehicles on the southbound side of US-75 near the exit for Loy Lake Road in Denison. This is just northeast of Loy Lake and about 72 miles northeast of Dallas.

Police haven’t yet commented on the cause of the crash, which involved a car, a camper van, three pickups, and a cement truck. At least six people were involved.

Medics transported one person to an area hospital with injuries of unknown severity.

Another person, who was a passenger in the car, sustained fatal injuries. Authorities identified the deceased victim as 29-year-old Seth Sutton.

Officials closed the southbound side of US-75 while crews attended to the victims and worked to clear the scene.

The investigation is ongoing.
