Juan Villasana IDed as victim in ATV crash near Doolittle
HIDALGO CO., TX – A collision involving an ATV and an SUV killed a 25-year-old man over the weekend in central Hidalgo County, reports KRGV 5 News.
The accident occurred shortly after 8:30 p.m. Saturday on East Ingle Road near North Jasmin Road in the northeastern outskirts of Edinburg.
Police say that the driver of a westbound Nissan Kicks attempted to pass a westbound Can-Am Maverick ATV vehicle, causing a two-vehicle collision.
A passenger in the ATV, identified as Juan Antonio Villasana, sustained fatal injuries.
Neither driver sustained injuries in the crash.
Motorists likely faced delays along East Ingle Road in the area of the accident while emergency teams worked at the scene.
A full investigation is underway.
