Trooper Charles Birmingham charged in off-duty DUI collision
DOUGLASSVILLE, TX – A 43-year-old DPS trooper was charged over the weekend for his involvement in a two-vehicle crash in north-central Cass County, reports CBS 19.
The accident happened Saturday at TX-8 and TX-77 in the city of Douglassville, which is about 29 miles southwest of Texarkana.
The preliminary investigation indicates that DPS Trooper Decori Charles Birmingham was intoxicated at the time of the collision.
