Rodolfo Mora IDed as victim in Tyler pedestrian accident

TYLER, TX – A vehicle struck and killed a 68-year-old Tyler man along the highway in northeast Tyler on Christmas Day, reports CBS 19.

The accident occurred on Loop 323 at Lavender Road, or County Road 35, which is just west of the Tyler Travel Center and southwest of Lenox Lake.

Police say that an eastbound car hit Rodolfo Mora as he attempted to cross the highway on foot.

Mora succumbed to his injuries at the scene of the crash.

The driver involved in the accident stopped to render aid and to speak with authorities.

No charges have been filed thus far.

A full investigation is underway.
