Austin PD charges Angelicque Bramlett with intoxication manslaughter

AUSTIN, TX – One person died, and another was arrested Sunday following a multi-vehicle collision along the highway in southeast Austin, reports My Texas Daily.

Around 9:30 a.m., emergency crews responded to a three-vehicle crash in the 3100 block of South US-183 near McCall Lane. This is on the west side of Austin-Bergstrom International Airport.

Police haven’t yet disclosed the circumstances of the accident except to say that it involved a car, an SUV, and a hatchback.

The driver of the hatchback sustained fatal injuries in the collision. Authorities are waiting to release the victim’s name until family has been notified.

Police arrested the driver of the SUV, identified as Angelicque Bramlett, on a charge of intoxication manslaughter.
