Gilbert Juarez IDed as victim in Corpus Christi motorcycle crash

CORPUS CHRISTI, TX – A 38-year-old motorcyclist died over the weekend in a two-vehicle collision along a major roadway in northeast Nueces County, reports KENS5.

The accident occurred Saturday on Ocean Drive near Robert Drive in the Bay Area of Corpus Christi.

Officials haven’t yet shared any details regarding the cause and circumstances of the crash except to say that the motorcycle operator appeared to be at fault.

The motorcyclist succumbed to his injuries after transport to an area hospital. Authorities identified the victim as Gilbert Juarez.

It’s unclear if anyone in the other vehicle sustained injuries in the collision.
