UPDATE: Robert McAuley, 46, killed in Old East Dallas hit-and-run, officials confirm 

DALLAS, TX – Dallas County Medical Examiner’s Office confirmed it was 46-year-old Robert McAuely who was killed in a hit-and-run crash in Old East Dallas on Sunday. 

Dallas Morning News said McAuely, a male pedestrian, succumbed to his injuries at 2:48 a.m., after he was struck by a hit-and-run vehicle on the 4100 block of North Central Expressway. 

Police have not released the suspect’s name or a description of what they look like.
