Jeremy Danilo Cruz-Sorto, ID’d as minor killed in crash near Dallas-Fort Worth Int. Airport 

IRVING, TX – Dallas County Medical Examiner’s Office confirmed it was a 12-year-old boy who was killed in a crash near the Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport on Saturday.

The examiner’s office told WFAA that they identified the minor as Jeremy Danilo Cruz-Sorto.

The collision happened on State Highway 183. Jeremy jumped over the cement guardrail and came onto the express lanes when he was struck by two vehicles.

Jeremy died from his injuries a short time later, and his death has been ruled an accident.

Irving Police shut down the westbound lanes for several hours on Saturday to accommodate the scene clean-up process.

Police have reopened all lanes and are working to determine other factors that led to the crash.
