David Garcia Mora, 19, ID’d in deadly crash in Pleasant Grove 

PLEASANT GROVE, TX – According to the Dallas County Medical Examiner’s Office, it was 19-year-old David Garcia Mora who was killed in a deadly crash that happened last week. 

This comes as an update in connection with a story about the fatal collision that happened in Pleasant Grove last Sunday, May 17. The crash occurred around 1 a.m. 

Police told WFAA that it was Mora, driving a pickup truck, who reportedly ran a red light on the 5500th block of Buckner Road and crashed into an SUV. 

Mora succumbed to his injuries at the scene, while the SUV driver was sent to a hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.

Police did not say if speed or impairment played a role in the collision.
