15 hurt in DART bus collision in Dallas
DALLAS, TX – EMS crews rushed 15 people to local hospitals following a DART bus collision on Thursday, NBCDFW reports.
DART officials said in a press release that the incident unfolded on the 6300th block of Harry Hines Boulevard when a metal plate shifted, creating a hole in the road, and causing the bus to crash into it.
Medical personnel said 15 people on board the bus sustained minor injuries. Seven people were taken to Dallas Methodist, four to Parkland, and four more to Baylor.
Officials confirmed 18 people were on the bus, and three others declined medical attention.
