Man’s life claimed in pin-in collision on U.S. 75 in North Dallas

NORTH DALLAS, TX – A man was killed in a pin-in collision on U.S. 75 North in North Dallas on Sunday, according to the Dallas Express

The crash occurred around 8 a.m. along Royal Lane. Preliminary details from the Dallas Fire Rescue reveal that one driver crashed into a disabled vehicle, causing a man to be pinned underneath.

The pinned man went on to suffer fatal injuries, while the two other occupants, a driver who crashed into the disabled vehicle and a female passenger from the disabled vehicle, survived.

The two surviving occupants sustained unspecified injuries and were taken to the hospital.

Officials closed the northbound lanes for three hours to accommodate the on-scene clean-up process. During that time, authorities also redirected northbound traffic to Meadow Road before later reopening the area.

Law enforcement has not released the man’s name nor confirmed the contributing factor of the crash.
