1 hospitalized following two semi-truck collision on U.S. 175 in Dallas 

DALLAS, TX – One person had to go to the hospital following a two-vehicle semi-truck collision on the westbound U.S. 175 in Dallas on Monday. 

The incident unfolded before 10 a.m. According to the Dallas Morning News, a saddle truck got punctured, resulting in a diesel fuel spill along Elam Road and warranting the response of hazmat crews. 

Officials shut down the area to allow Dallas County deputies and rediverted traffic to the nearest exit. 

The cause of the crash and the severity of injuries were not disclosed.
