Person’s life claimed in pedestrian-vehicle crash in Fort Worth 

FORT WORTH, TX – A person was killed as a result of a pedestrian-vehicle crash in Fort Worth on Monday, the Fort Worth Star-Telegram reports.

The pedestrian was struck by a vehicle on the 3300th block of South Freeway and died from their injuries a short time later. The collision happened around 11:45 p.m, and warranted closures for the southbound directions along Berry Street.

All lane closures have since been lifted.

The Tarrant County Medical Examiner’s Office has not released the pedestrian’s name, and police are continuing to investigate the details behind the collision.
