1 injured in multi-vehicle chain-reaction collision in Arlington

ARLINGTON, TX – One person was injured as a result of a multi-vehicle chain-reaction collision in Arlington on Monday, WFAA said.

The incident happened before 5:45 p.m. on Highway 360 North. Eyewitnesses reportedly told police that the driver of an unknown car crashed into an 18-wheeler and a Ford Escape SUV, which led to a chain-reaction crash.

The driver who allegedly caused the collision then continued driving, witnesses said. Based on what police have found so far, the Ford Escape crashed into a 2022 Toyota CHR. The Toyota rear-ended a 2023 Hyundai Ioniq, and the Hyundaithen crashed into a 2025 Tesla Model Y.

The CHR passenger sustained unspecified injuries and was taken to the hospital.
