Bicyclist Seriously Injured in Auto-Pedestrian Crash on University Oaks Boulevard at Munson Avenue in College Station
Collage Station, TX. (August 21, 2023)- One person was injured in an auto-pedestrian crash on August 10, 2023, in College Station, Texas. The accident occurred around 7:00 p.m. at the University Oaks Boulevard and Munson Avenue intersection. Police reported that the driver of a northbound Kia sedan failed to yield the right of way at a 4-way stop and struck a bicyclist. The Kia driver then struck a southbound vehicle. The bicyclist was transported to an area hospital with serious injuries. No other injuries were reported. The driver of the Kia was arrested for Motor Vehicle Accident Involving Pedestrian or Other Vulnerable Road User Within Area of Crosswalk. No further details have been provided at the time.
