Accident causes backup on northbound US-75 in NE Dallas

DALLAS, TX – Motorists faced delays Sunday afternoon on U.S. Route 75 following a collision in northeast Dallas, according to KRLD Traffic.

The wreck occurred on the northbound side of US-75 at Exit 6 to Walnut Hill Lane, in an area just east of North Central Medical Plaza. It was first reported at about 2:16 p.m.

Little information has been disclosed to the public, but the scene had the right lane and shoulder closed. At the time of the initial report, a traffic backup was impacting traffic down to Lovers Lane.

A photo captured by an area traffic camera indicated that a box truck was involved.

No injuries or hospitalizations have been confirmed as of this writing.
