Child fatality reported in collision on Dee Gabriel Collins Rd
AUSTIN, TX – A child died, and three adults sustained injuries Friday afternoon in a two-vehicle crash near Pilot Knob in southeast Austin, reports KVUE.
The collision occurred around 1:30 p.m. on Dee Gabriel Collins Road between Cottonmouth School Road and US-183. This is southwest of the Austin Rock & Roll Car Museum.
Police say haven’t yet commented on the cause of the accident. They say that one of the two vehicles involved in the collision overturned as a result of the crash impact.
Medics performed life-saving measures, but a child passenger succumbed to their injuries at the scene of the accident.
Three adult patients went to the hospital as trauma alerts.
