Samson Seablom IDed as victim in crash at S 1st, William Cannon

AUSTIN, TX – A 47-year-old man sustained fatal injuries last Monday in a major collision that happened at a busy south Austin intersection, reports KXAN Austin.

The crash occurred shortly after 2:30 p.m. at South First Street and West William Cannon Drive, which is just south of ABC Driving School in the Southwest Mediplex area.

The cause and circumstances of the two-vehicle accident haven’t yet been established.

Medics transported one of the drivers and a pedestrian to area hospitals with injuries of unknown severity.

The other driver, identified as Samson Seablom, succumbed to his injuries at the scene of the crash.

The collision likely caused delays in the area of South First and William Cannon while crews assisted the victims and worked to clear the scene.

A full investigation is underway.
