Kate Woods injured in 2-vehicle crash at S Market and Young
DALLAS, TX – A woman sustained injuries Monday in a two-vehicle collision at a busy intersection in downtown Dallas, reports WFAA News 8.
Shortly before 10 a.m., emergency crews responded to a rollover accident at South Market and Young Streets, which is just east of Ferris Plaza and south of John F. Kennedy Memorial Plaza.
Police haven’t shared any details about the cause of the crash, which they say caused one of the vehicles to flip on its side, trapping the driver.
Crews worked to extricate the entrapped driver, who has since been identified as Kate Woods. Woods sustained non-life-threating injuries, including a concussion, neck, and shoulder pain.
It’s unclear if anyone in the second vehicle sustained injuries in the collision.
A full investigation is underway.
