Antonia Garcia Rios arrested in downtown Austin injury crash

AUSTIN, TX – Four people were hospitalized, and one person faced arrest Friday following an auto-pedestrian accident at fast food restaurant in Austin, reports KXAN.

The crash happened shortly before 2:30 a.m. at the Raising Cane’s in the 400 block of West Martin Luther King Jr., which is just southwest of UT Austin.

Police allege that Antonia G. Garcia Rios was intoxicated when her Ford F-150 hit four pedestrians in the parking lot of the eatery.

Medics transported the victims to area hospitals with non-life-threatening injuries.

Rios is being held on intoxication assault charges.
