Monika Cox claimed in solo crash on Anderson Mill Rd

AUSTIN, TX – A 79-year-old woman died in the hospital from injuries sustained earlier this month in a single-vehicle collision in northwest Austin, reports CBS Austin.

Shortly before 9:30 a.m. on Thursday, November 6, emergency teams responded to a major accident on Anderson Mill Road near Star View Trail, which is east of FM 620 and west of US-183.

Police haven’t yet determined the cause or circumstances of the accident. They say that Monika Cox required hospitalization for serious injuries received in the collision.

Cox succumbed to her injuries several days after the accident.

There were no other passengers in the car at the time of the crash.
