Pedestrian critically hurt in crash near Doniphan Dr, Valley Chili Rd

EL PASO, TX – Serious injuries have been reported in connection to an auto-pedestrian crash that happened Sunday night in the northwest suburbs of El Paso, reports KTSM.

Shortly after 7 p.m., emergency teams responded to an accident on Doniphan Drive between Valley Chili Road and Rainbow Lake Drive in the city of Anthony.

Police that a vehicle struck a male pedestrian along Doniphan. It’s unclear if the victim was walking on or along the roadway when the accident occurred.

Medics transported the victim to an area hospital with potentially life-threatening injuries.

Officials haven’t yet shared any details about the driver involved in the crash, and it’s unclear if charges will be filed.
