Angelicque Bramlett charged in fatal crash on US-183 in Austin
AUSTIN, TX – One woman died, and another was charged following a three-vehicle crash that happened Sunday morning in southeast Austin.
According to CBS Austin, the accident occurred shortly after 9:30 a.m. on US-183 south of Metropolis Drive and on the west side of Austin-Bergstrom International Airport.
The investigation indicates that 27-year-old Angelicque Bramlett was intoxicated when her SUV collided with a sedan and an SUV along the highway.
The female driver of the hatchback, who has not yet been named by authorities, succumbed to her injuries at the scene.
The driver of the sedan did not require hospitalization.
Police arrested Bramlett on a charge of intoxication manslaughter.
The circumstances of the crash remain under investigation.
