Driver collides with police vehicle on US 67 in SW Dallas
DALLAS, TX – Northbound US-67 was closed to traffic yesterday afternoon after a driver collided with a police vehicle stopped on the side of the road.
WFAA reports that the crash happened between Red Bird Lane and Hampton Road sometime before 5:15 p.m. on July 8.
The police vehicle had been parked on the shoulder for a prior, unrelated traffic stop.
Emergency responders took a police officer an area hospital as a precautionary measure. The other driver was also hospitalized. We do not know that person’s condition.
Northbound lanes reopened by about 7 p.m.
