Man’s life claimed in single-SUV collision in Dallas 

DALLAS, TX – A man’s life was claimed in a single-SUV collision that occurred in the Oak Cliff district on Thursday. 

The incident occurred overnight on the 2800th block of Southwestmoreland Road, west of Kiest Park, according to Fox4News

Preliminary details show the male driver crashed his SUV into a utility pole. The man became entrapped inside his vehicle, warranting extrication by Dallas Fire Rescue. 

Once fire crews extricated the man, EMS personnel rushed him to a hospital, where he later died. 

Police have not released the man’s identity and are actively working to determine the exact cause of the single-SUV collision.
