Male pickup truck driver loses life in crash involving big rig in Burleson 

BURLESON, TX – A male pickup truck driver was killed in a crash involving a big rig in Burleson on Monday, NBCDFW said. 

The collision happened before 4:30 a.m. on the 1700th block of Interstate 35 West. A pickup truck collided with a big rig, causing the pickup truck driver to die from his injuries at the scene. 

The big rig motorist was uninjured. 

Police rediverted northbound Interstate 35 West Traffic toward the service road at Bethesda Road to allow crews to clean up debris from the crash. 

The Texas Department of Transportation assisted with traffic control. 

No other details, including the cause of the crash and the victim’s identity, have been released at this time.
