Erick Moreno Rodriguez and Bryan Alvarez Morales Killed in DUI Crash on U.S. 83 near Laredo
Laredo, TX. (March 3, 2022)- 46-year-old Erick Alberto Moreno Rodriguez and 25-year-old Bryan Alvarez Morales were killed in a two-vehicle crash on February 26, 2022, near Laredo, Texas. The accident occurred just after 3:00 a.m. on U.S 83. DPS reported that the driver of a 2014 Volkswagen Beetle was traveling on the wrong side of the roadway when they crashed head-on into a 2012 Ford Explorer occupied by the victims. Rodriguez and Morales were pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the Volkswagen was transported to Laredo Medical Center with serious injuries. It is believed that the Volkswagen driver was intoxicated at the time of the crash. No further details have been provided at this time. The crash remains under investigation.
