Unidentified pedestrian struck, killed while walking on TX-183 in Ft. Worth

FORT WORTH, TX – A man died Tuesday night after he was struck by a vehicle while walking on a freeway in east Fort Worth.

According to a report by the Fort Worth Star-Telegram, the victim was walking on TX-183 near the County Line Road overpass at about 10 p.m. when he was hit by an oncoming vehicle.

The victim, whose identity is not mentioned in the report, was pronounced dead at the scene.

The driver involved was taken to Baylor, Scott and White Medical Center Grapevine with unspecified injuries. It is unclear if any charges will be filed in connection to the deadly crash.
