Griceldo Garcia Killed, Four Injured in Rear-End Crash on Northeast Stallings Drive in Nacogdoches
Nacogdoches, TX. (February 17, 2023)- 69-year-old Griceldo Garcia was killed, and four others were injured in a multi-vehicle crash on February 15, 2023, in Nacogdoches, Texas. The accident occurred just before 7:30 p.m. in the 2800 block of Northeast Stallings Drive. Police reported that Garcia was driving a southbound Jeep Grand Cherokee when he slowed down due to a turning Jeep Patriot traveling in front of him. The driver of a Ford F-150 then rear-ended Garcia’s vehicle. Garcia, his wife and their 9-year-old grandson were transported to an area hospital where Garcia succumbed to his injuries. The driver of the Patriot and their 5-year-old passenger sustained minor injuries. The driver of the Ford was arrested and charged with two counts of intoxication assault and intoxication manslaughter. No further details have been provided at this time. The crash remains under investigation.
