4 hurt in police car vs. pickup crash in downtown Dallas

DALLAS, TX – Four adults, including two police officers, were injured in an alleged DUI crash involving a pickup and a police car on Monday in Dallas, reports WFAA 8.

The incident occurred about half past midnight near the intersection of North Field Street and San Jacinto Street, which is just east of the Dallas World Aquarium.

It’s unclear how the accident occurred, but police say the driver of the pickup truck may face a DUI charge.

The police officers and two occupants from the pickup truck went to the hospital with injuries from the collision. The extent of their injuries is unclear at this time.

Officials say that the accident caused significant front-end damage to the police cruiser.
