Single-vehicle crash near Winnsboro kills 2, injures 1
FRANKLIN CO., TX – Two teenagers ded, and another was hurt late last month after their pickup truck crashed along a highway near Winnsboro, reports East Texas Radio.
The incident happened on Sunday, February 26th, around 1:30 a.m. on FM 115 south of Scroggins and near Winnsboro.
The investigation indicates that, for unknown reasons, the driver of the southbound pickup truck lost control of the vehicle, left the roadway, and collided with a tree.
The driver, identified as 18-year-old Grayson Mayberry, died after transport to a hospital in Winnsboro.
A passenger, identified as 18-year-old Seth Griner, died at the scene of the accident.
Medics transported a second passenger to a hospital in Tyler.
