Rollover crash on Mineral Wells Hwy near Weatherford kills child

PARKER CO., TX – A 1-year-old boy died Wednesday evening from injuries sustained in a rollover accident along a highway in central Parker County.

According to DFW Scanner, the incident happened around 6:30 p.m. just west of Weatherford and east of Cool in the area of 6800 Mineral Wells Highway.

It’s not yet clear how the accident transpired. Emergency teams found a vehicle overturned along the highway and pronounced the child deceased at the scene.

Authorities haven’t clarified whether any other vehicles were involved in the crash, nor have they indicated if there were additional injuries.
