Jillian Coatney and Genesta Humphrey Killed in DUI Crash on FM 646 at Gill Road in League City
League City, TX. (April 6, 2023)- 24-year-old Jillian Coatney and 28-year-old Genesta Humphrey were killed in a two-vehicle crash on April 4, 2023, in League City, Texas. The accident occurred around 7:30 p.m. on FM 646 at Gill Road. Police reported that the driver of a westbound pickup truck failed to yield the right of way while exiting a business parking lot and collided with a vehicle occupied by Coatney and Humphrey. Coatney was pronounced dead at the scene. Humphrey was transported to an area hospital where she later succumbed to her injuries. The driver of the pickup truck was charged with two counts of intoxication manslaughter. No further details have been provided at the time. The crash remains under investigation.
