2 hurt in motorcycle crash at Barrel Strap and Lake Sharon

DENTON, TX – Medics transported two motorcycle riders to the hospital on Sunday night after their bike crashed at a busy intersection in Denton, reports DFW Scanner.

Motorcycle Accident (Denton) Engine 6, Medic 6, Medic 8 and Denton PD are on scene of a motorcycle accident on Barrel Strap Road and Lake Sharon Drive. Reported to be a motorcycle with two riders. Both being transported to hospital. Avoid this area.

The incident happened sometime before 9:05 p.m. at the intersection of Barrel Strap Road and Lake Sharon Drive, which is just northwest of Sharon Lake and southwest of Oakmont Country Club.

Officials encouraged drivers to avoid the intersection while crews worked to investigate and clear the scene.
