Newark man killed in motorcycle crash on FM 156 in Haslet
HASLET, TX – A 21-year-old man died Sunday night after crashing his motorcycle on a busy roadway in Haslet, reports DFW Scanner.
The incident happened around 9 p.m. in the area of FM 156, or Blue Mound Road, and Odessa Drive, which is just southwest of the post office.
Police say that for unknown reasons, the motorcyclist left the roadway and crashed into a guardrail. He died after transport to a hospital in Fort Worth.
Officials closed Blue Mound Road in the vicinity of the accident while crews investigated and worked to clear the scene.
