2 killed and a 3-year-old hurt in a 2-car crash on Hwy 31 in Tyler
TYLER, TX – Police are investigating a fatal collision involving two vehicles that happened along the highway between Tyler and Kilgore on Friday.
According to KLTV 7, the incident involved a grey sedan and a pickup truck and occurred around 9:38 a.m. on Highway 31 at Farm to Market Road 757.
Police say that both a grey Honda Accent and a Dodge Ram 3500 were travelling east on Highway 31 when the driver of the sedan attempted to make a U-turn in the roadway. The pickup truck struck the Honda, killing the driver and a passenger. Authorities identified the victims as Margaret Reavis and Letha Frost.
A 3-year-old passenger from the Honda went to the hospital with injuries from the collision, as did the 26-year-old driver of the pickup truck, identified as Ryan Wilcoxson Jr.
