Ambulance called to crash on I-635 EB past Plano Rd in NE Dallas

DALLAS, TX – Authorities dispatched an ambulance to a collision on the eastbound side of the interstate in the Lake Highlands area Wednesday morning.

According to KRLD Traffic, the incident occurred around 10:16 a.m. on I-635 EB past Plano Road, which is just north of BB Owen Park and northeast of Lake Highlands Junior High School.

The cause of the accident is still under investigation, and there’s no word yet on injuries. Video footage shows an ambulance at the scene of the crash along with police and a fire truck.

The collision blocked the the right lanes of traffic along with the end of the entrance ramp to I-635 while crews investigated and worked to clear the scene.

The investigation is ongoing.
