Semi accident on I-635 at 175 in Balch Springs blocks traffic

BALCH SPRINGS, TX – An accident involving an 18-wheeler along the interstate in Balch Springs delayed traffic just before noon on Friday, reports KRLD Traffic.

The incident happened around 11:53 a.m. on the southbound side of I-635 before US-175, which is just east of Trinity River Audubon Center.

Police haven’t yet commented on the cause of the accident or the number of vehicles involved. Photos taken at the scene depict debris in the roadway near an 18-wheeler. Photos also show police and at least one tow truck at the scene.

The incident blocked the right two lanes of traffic on southbound I-635 while crews worked to investigate and clear the scene.
