Fatality reported in accident on DNT NB near Park Blvd

PLANO, TX – At least one person died Friday afternoon after a major crash along the Dallas North Tollway in central Plano, reports DFW Scanner.

The incident happened sometime before 3:49 p.m. on the northbound side of the DNT near Park Boulevard, which is in the Pitman Creek North area.

There’s no word yet on the number of vehicles involved or the cause of the accident, nor have authorities released the name of the deceased party.

Officials closed the northbound side of the DNT in the area of the accident while police gathered evidence and crews worked to clear the scene.
