Motorcyclist killed in 2-vehicle crash near S Collins and Forrestal

ARLINGTON, TX – A two-vehicle crash along a major roadway in Arlington killed a motorcyclist on Friday, reports WFAA News 8. 

The incident happened just after 1 a.m. near the intersection of South Collins Street and Forrestal Drive, which is southeast of Carter Junior High School and north of Blanton Elementary School.

Police say a northbound motorcycle struck a Nissan Altima as the latter vehicle turned onto Collins Street from a parking lot.

The motorcyclist, identified at this time simply as a 38-year-old man, died at the scene after being ejected from his bike. Authorities have not yet released his name to the public.

No other injuries have been referenced in connection to the event.

A full investigation is underway.
