Police investigate fatal hit-and-run at Petal St in NE Dallas

DALLAS, TX – A male pedestrian died at the scene of a hit-and-run accident early Saturday on a roadway just west of South Jupiter Road.

According to WFAA News 8, the incident happened around 2:45 a.m. in the area of 11200 block of Petal Street.

Police say a man was walking along the roadway when a vehicle struck him, killing him at the scene. Authorities have not yet released the name of the victim.

At this time, authorities do not have a description of the suspect vehicle, nor have they commented on the cause of the crash.
