Critical injuries reported in rollover on FM 720 near Eldorado Pkwy

LITTLE ELM, TX – Emergency teams reported to a major accident with entrapment along a highway in west-central Denton County on Thursday, reports DFW Scanner.

The incident happened some time before 3:53 p.m. in the area of 2000 Oak Grove Parkway, or FM 720, just north of West Eldorado Parkway in the city of Little Elm. This is about 24 miles northwest of Plano.

It’s not yet clear what caused the crash or how many vehicles were involved. Police say that one person required extrication from an overturned vehicle. That patient went to the hospital with critical injuries.

Motorists likely experienced delays along FM 720 in the area of the crash while crews worked to clear the scene.

A full investigation is underway.
