Woman killed, child hurt in solo crash on NW Green Oaks in Arlington

ARLINGTON, TX – A 36-year-old woman died Friday from injuries sustained in a single-vehicle crash along a busy Arlington roadway, reports DFW Scanner.

The incident occurred at 11:38 a.m. in the area of 2200 Northwest Green Oaks Boulevard, which is north of I-30 and south of Village Creek Waste Water Treatment Plant.

Police say that for unknown reasons, the victim’s southbound vehicle left Green Oaks Boulevard and crashed into a concrete pillar.

The driver died at the scene. Authorities have not yet disclosed her identity to the public.

Medics transported a 4-year-old passenger to the hospital with unspecified injuries.

A full investigation is underway.
