Rollover with ejection on I-35W SB past Hidden Creek kills elderly woman
BURLESON, TX – A 75-year-old woman died Wednesday from injuries caused by a rollover crash with ejection along the interstate in Burleson, reports DFW Scanner.
The incident happened just before 1 a.m. on the southbound side of I-35W just south of East Hidden Creek Parkway, which is also just south of Hidden Creek Sports Complex.
Police say the victim’s vehicle overturned following a crash on I-35W. This initial crash caused the victim to be thrown from her vehicle and into the roadway, where another vehicle struck and killed her.
Authorities have not yet disclosed the identity of the victim.
Officials closed the interstate in the vicinity of the accident while crews gathered evidence and worked to clear the scene.
The investigation is ongoing.
