Crash with entrapment reported on FM 718 near Morris Dido Newark

NEWARK, TX – Emergency teams responded to a major accident with entrapment along FM 718 in northwest Tarrant County on Thursday morning, reports DFW Scanner.

The accident happened around 6:56 a.m. on FM 718 near Morris Dido Newark Road. This is about 22 miles northwest of Fort Worth.

Police haven’t yet specified what caused the collision, nor do we know how many vehicles were involved or if there were injuries. At least one person became entrapped in their vehicle and required extrication.

Officials encouraged drivers to avoid the area while extrication efforts were underway and crews worked to clear the scene.
