Motorcyclist, 52, dies following multi-vehicle wreck in Hill County

HILL COUNTY, TX – A multi-vehicle collision late Wednesday afternoon in Whitney claimed the life of a 52-year-old man, according to FOX 44 News.

The accident occurred in the 800 block of East Jefferson Street prompting a response from local police at about 5:11 p.m.

While the events leading up to the wreck remain unclear, officials said the victim, a local resident who was operating a motorcycle, was pronounced deceased at the scene.

Two other vehicles were involved, but neither of the other drivers were reported injured.

Multiple area agencies, including the Texas Highway Patrol, Hill County Sheriff’s Office, as well as Whitney Fire Department and EMS personnel, provided assistance at the scene.

Investigators have not indicated whether anyone is expected to be charged or cited in the fatal incident.
