Truck crash on I-20WB near Bush Tpk in Grand Prairie blocks traffic

GRAND PRAIRIE, TX – Emergency teams responded to an accident involving at least one semi Wednesday afternoon along the interstate in Grand Prairie, reports KRLD Traffic.

The incident occurred around 4:01 p.m. on the westbound side of I-20 near South Robinson Road and the Bush Turnpike. This is just west of the Fish Creek – Dallas County Nature Preserve.

There’s no word yet on the cause or circumstances of the crash, nor is it clear if anyone was hurt. Video footage taken at the scene depicts two or three semi-trucks along the side of the interstate along with an ambulance, police cruiser, and firetruck.

The accident delayed traffic along I-20 westbound while crews worked to investigate and clear the scene.

The investigation is ongoing.
